We have just completed our first week working with the SAY Yes! students. It was an incredible time filled with hard work, laughter, sweat and increased knowledge. Definitely making UPward movements!
Day 1, we completed a questionnaire to measuring current activities, eating habits, self-esteem and time moving. The warm up was also taught on this day.
Day 2, we measured core strength via sit ups, front planks and side planks (left and right) and continued learning the warm up.
Day 3, we measured upper body via push ups and lower body strength via wall sits, while starting to master the warm up movements.
Week 2 will be the completion of our fitness assessment and start into movement training based on age and fitness level.
